  1. Good afternoon Sis! Out side burning of a new offset stick burner barbecue grill that I bought one of my other loves. While doing that I have biscuits on the grill and how they brown or possibly burn on edges will show me where the hot spots in the new grill are and how heat travels in it. While doing that Iโ€™m picturing containers and beds this year whatโ€™s going where so your video is very timely. Have a good afternoon.

  2. Oh, I love your hanging baskets with the chives in them. I have alyssum ready to go as well as some purple lettuce and my petunias are coming along nicely. I will start some chives so I can recreate your hanging basket. Iโ€™m so excited to do this. Thank you so much for the inspiration โค

  3. Adding chives & lettuce are fun ideas and look great! I'm so eager to get actual flowerbeds. I had all my flowers in raised bed and containers the last 3 years. Thx for the ideas! I did post photos on your community page. I added a 3rd photo accidentally and tried to delete just that photo. But I think I deleted the entire post. I'll try again soon.

  4. I love your spring containers adding chives and lettuce what a great idea. Great inspiration love it! Thanks Vita

  5. Hi Vita, I'm going to put chives in my Spring pots. I love how the chives looks in the middle of your pots. Thank you!! What an awesome video. ๐Ÿ˜Š

  6. Hi Vita, I started following you fairly recently and boy, it has been an eye opener! Iโ€™m thrilled to learn that I can over winter plants in my garage and also how to propagate plants on a budget. Love your videos!!
I love how the chives look in the pots above. I do wonder how you keep the squirrels from digging up all your bulbs? I have lost many bulbs in the ground and pots to them ๐Ÿ˜ข

  7. Oh Vita, they are all so pretty. I received an email from Proven Winners about container ideas using PW. They have an area that you can submit your address and receive a free color Proven Winners Idea Book. That maybe what you and others want to check out. I have received mine and it is really nice. I would have never thought of using Chives in a floral arrangement. I have already purchased hanging baskets and the brackets became I am copying your idea of hanging them on the sides of the trees. I have Trailing Nasturtiums in them. Two pots will have Red Trailing and the other two will be Purple Emperor. I hope the hummingbirds enjoy the Nasturtiums. I too end up with gnat sticky thingys stuck to me. Yesterday, I bumped up container size on Madagascar Vinca and Impatiens. I listened to an audiobook, listened to it rain outside and enjoyed having my hands in the dirt. Happy gardening everyone ๐ŸŒผ ๐ŸŒธ!

  8. โค I love this….Thank you.๐Ÿ˜Š I was just trying to figure out how to start building my spring garden and this has inspired me. Now to search your videos for how to force spring bulbs.๐Ÿค” ๐Ÿ’ญ

  9. I love the idea of using chives as a thriller in the mixed pots. I grow all the plants that you put in the first pots you shared. Thanks for giving us permission to take a picture so we can recreate this idea. That's exactly what I did! The photo's of all the spring bulbs on your porch and in your garden are stunning!!

  10. Love your ideas for containers! I'm just gettiing into the idea of decorative container "recipes" and am frugal too.I love how chives are one of the first cheerful blooms in spring, and that they are attractive to butterflies as well. I only have them in my above ground vegetable trugs, so this was such an eye-opener for me that they look great in containers! Plus, they do multiply so quickly each year, it will be a nice way to spread them around. Thank you! ๐Ÿ˜Š

  11. Love the chives amd lamium ideas for containers and i will certainly try it sometimes! I have started chives a year or two ago and they should soon be large enough to divide and add to pots! Same for lamium i have added different varietites to my landscape and plan on using some in pots! My pots are very budget friendly as I grow everything from seeds or from cuttings from the previous year (coleus and geranium). I also love to start more geranium from seeds as they are very easy! I also find nasturtiums very easy for pots!
