I pollinated some of my violets last year and started the seeds! This experiment created these two and they are now blooming. I love the mystery of making a new variety!
I love the left color it’s almost blue! And the right one with the tight frills!! Love it!
I have a mystery one too. Just a leaf I got and haven’t seen it bloom yet.
Also.. I’ve been growing leaf props for a few years now and I’ve started to see blooms changing! It’s like a whole new excitement when you see one plant start to change!

I’ve read that some leaf cuttings from unstable varieties can give you odd colors sometimes. I have more I’ve started from seed that will be blooming. One that has already bloomed was just white with a tiny touch of pink. Not very exciting but still different.
