I think someone is bragging that she laid an egg😂. Love the pots.
Would you by chance know how to keep tall grass (I'm thinking it's a tall water grass weed) from growing in my small tulip/iris bed? When I started it I got it all out (so I thought) then we put a big heeping new layer of dirt, planted iris and tulips then did a layer of mulch. It came in thicker!? We have used weed barriers in other areas that works for half a year then the wind picks up and weeds blow in. We spray where we can. Live on a hill in the country on a windy farm in Nebraska. Any help is much appreciated! Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us, I've learned so much over the years.
Happy Day!! Love the spring color you planted today by the Hartley. Enjoy the rain.
Butterfly pea can be used to make tea and it will have a blue tinge. I personally don’t find much flavor in it.
So do you plant seeds every year? I just joined your channel in May of 2025 and I haven't seen videos of seed starting. Is there a way to access all past videos? I do have a subscription. I just love watching and would rather spend my daily TV time watching you all instead of the horrors that are going on in the world. You are my happy place!!! That is, unless I'm outside gardening. 😊
Thank you Ken! I have been looking for Gnatrol… What ever is called but $600 is crazy expensive and I have only a few plants in the house.
Love the little flowers in the 2 urns, so wispy, very sweet!
Have a blessed day everyone! ❤
Great seed starting. Wow lots of flowers that are going to look amazing. The planter’s are so pretty. Thanks again for sharing this with us.💯💯💯🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Are they OWLS in the background while Laura is adding seeds to her trays? If so, that is so cool! Living in Orlando, we often get much different “creatures” hooting and hollering at all hours of the day and night. I think I prefer the owls. 😂
🎉😊
Remember when you had a grass of some kind in those shallow containers that filled up the drain holes all the way down to the gravel? Maybe the hole in the riser accumulates roots from planting to planting and backs up the drainage….? 💕
The internet machine says you pronounce it sham-ee
Hi Laura my question isn't regarding the video but would it be a good idea to add gypsum and humin behind the chicken coop as you always struggle with iron issues?
The gnatrol method has worked perfectly for me and I was able to buy a small amout on Amazon, I had to go over a few pages, but it's there.
Ben should be doing little blurbs for us on the bird calls we hear! ❤
I ordered from the GA store the fungus gnat killer – thanks to Ken for finding!! I’m just wondering if I can mix in my seed starting soil. Or should I mix in water as per instructions? I’m excited to find something to help with gnat problem! I love your channel and
watch every morning! You inspire me sooo much💕
Do you have those tall root training pots for sale on your website?
The kids would love the brain flower!!! Grow it for them… and us. 😂
I love Garden Answer and Ken wirh their store is awsome. The best i found of Gnatrol was via Organic BTI company online. They sell it in 4oz, 8 oz bags as well as those huge containers. For comparison they charge $26.95 for 4 oz. So garden answer better deal.
2 spring containers looks lovely.
Wow look at that birds nest up in the maple at 27:48! So neat ☺️
Oh my gosh those containers are so pretty ❤❤!
I purchased a pound of gnatrol about a month ago for about $70 with free shipping. 4 oz wouldn't be enough for me.
Love Love your channel, Now I know where all the paper pots went. 😆
Love the saxifrage!!
Hi Laura and family! Sending my love to all of you. You can make a tea from the butterfly pea flowers! It's a really subtle taste, beautiful blue colour that can do a cool colour change thing with lemon (and it makes a nice iced tea) and has lots of health benefits!
Seed planting was like moving meditation with the bonus of mourning dove cooing and the fountain! Awesome numbers of flower varieties started. The saxifrage looks beautiful in those pots. Not a plant I’m familiar with-I’ll be checking this one out!!! ❤❤❤
Those brain-looking flowers look like Coral.
Love watching and listening to Samantha,🧚 she's the most beautiful flower. 🌷🌹
FYI, actually butterfly pea is edible and when you make a drink or cocktail from it, the colour will change when you put lime or lemon juice in. so much fun!
Laura, you talked about spraying for thrip for your asters. I had them terribly last year in my snapdragons, do I not plant in the same beds, spray before the flowers come, not plant them at all? Can you help me with what you plan to do?
Will Helebores do well in Central KY area. I’m not sure of our zone. They are really pretty.
Just curious…are you grawing for your moms shop or are all those flowers 15 flats going in your yard??
What is the dead brown plant hanging from the greenhouse ceiling?
What is the bird we always hear in your videos! Does Benjamin know?
Envii extra clear pond clean. Laura and Aaron not sure if you have heard of this. Thought I would pass the information.
So many plants ! Laura you are going to be a busy bee 🐝 soon!
Hi Laura .. you mentioned to Benjamin (our “baby” who is 34 now is Benjamin also so I love when I hear you say his name!!) that blue pea flower is not edible .. you have mentioned about your sleeping issues .. blue pea flower is amazing to help sleep .. just make a tea out of the flowers (fresh or dried)!! You will sleep like a baby ❤
That’s a LOT of tags. I bet Ben could help out with that😊
Love the float tip
I love the big green bin you use can you get those?
I love hearing the doves in the background!
If you can you should put up the picture of what the flower will look like for a reference for us unless I missed that part
