  1. Youre an awesome husband! My husband has created and preps and maintains a small garden space for me. Its a labor of love and i aporeciate every second he spends working in our garden.
If i had more yard space we would have a bigger garden. He made it as big as he could with what space we have. Its perfect for the 2 of us though. However were expecting our first baby in May and likely wont have time or energy for a garden this year but itll still be just perfect for the 3 of us once our son is able to eat solid foods.
He is SO excited to garden with and teach our son about gardening one day. And honestly i cant wait to watch them together in the garden and pick fresh veggies and fruits with the 2 of them.

  2. Yay! I'm so excited for this garden season! ❤ I had about 100 tomato plants too! my garden is about the same size but for a family of 5 😂 but you need a separate pumpkin/ squash patch and a berry/ apple orchard and potato patch lol we are always planning and expanding 😂❤LOVE from WV

  3. Chris you are a wonderful husband to work with your spouse in such an active way you guys will make a powerful team!😊

  4. next time you want to clean up the arch they're nice and dry you just light them on fire and they burn right off.

  5. You should plant some berries and orchard trees like peaches, pears and apples, etc. So much fun to pick your own and process them!! I've been eating on my own peaches and pears all winter!!

  6. Lord I feel for you hun lol😅 mine is 17 by 32 lol and it’s a lot for my with weeds haha

  7. Bring your chicken coop inside the garden fence. Then at the end of the growing season, let them roam and feast on all the greens! Makes for less work for you!

  8. If you plant either potatoes or corn after harvest it replenishes the soil for a better harvest the next spring 😊💪🙌🙌

  9. I hate that I don’t have a backyard. I live in an apartment complex and last year. I tried growing stuff in planters, but they were not big enough and was not getting enough sign so this year I got bigger planters and I pretty much figured out how to get the plants in at least eight hours of sun. Wish me luck.

  10. My garden is 6 foot wide by 20 foot long 😅
Id love this much room. Id have chickens, a huge trampoline, a veggie patch, space for a pumpkin patch. This is goals ❤

  11. A few suggestions from Old Man Fred the gardener, try Sugar Buns Sweet Corn and Jet Star or Jetsetter Tomatoes, you will love them.

  12. Talk about HUGE! I’m in an 800 sqft. Apartment and have a garden only in pots of like 20+ different food plants. I thought mine was getting big. Honestly what a dream come true though this would be SO fun. What a blessing

  13. You’re a lucky man having a wife who enjoys gardening and cooking!!! P.S. When you’re older, you’ll wish you had eaten some of those vegetables!!!
