More Microplastics in your soil?! Use a Thriftstore at least.
And why buy a tray? If you buy meat or mushrooms etc they are already in plastic containers you can repurpose as trays.
Search other alternatives – you can use egg cartons, packaging, toilet paper rolls to start your seeds without cheap plastics.
And if we are at it: search up seed banks, farmers markets and communities for your plants. No need to buy seeds at the store, at times you even get small plants for free or in exchange for some of yours because they planted too much tomatoes or something.
i love dollar tree for some things like ceramic, but unfortunately most of this won't hold up over time. that rod is going to rust, the thin baskets crack easily (along with the other plastic), the scoop is pretty much only good for bagged stuff it isn't tough enough for soil (so might as well just get one that can do both), the styrofoam is wasteful and the price adds up over time (just use small plastic pots). it's better to just get something a bit higher quality from walmart or second hand than to keep repurchasing dollar tree stuff.

Try to use egg cartons to start your plants instead of Styrofoam cups ,we don't need no more Styrofoam in the landfills it's not biodegradable
