Instead of leaving stems above ground, what about writing a label
Very good advice.
Great tips! Should you remove your tulip bulbs from your plant pots before the summer when planting annuals in the same pots?
Do you continue to water after they go dormant? How often ?
Very helpful βΊοΈ this is the first time I'm dealing with tulips. Does this also apply to tulips indoor? Thank you
How would I know if the bulb is of a viable size to leave in the pot/ground? Doesn't the bulb split into small bulbs?

I planted 2 tulip bulbs that were gifted. One grew and flowered, but the 2nd one never grew. I thought it was a dud. Fast forward 2 years later I am digging where the dud was to plant another flower. To my surprise there where many, many, many more bulbs that grew underground! I am curious if anyone has any ideas why none of the bulbs that grew underground ever sprouted? Any ideas? Since the mother plant never sprouted will the others that grew never sprout either?
Amazing information
That's flower wasn't a tulip it was allium π
What happens if you don't cut the flower spike after it's bloom is gone? I intended to leave mine for my summer flowers planted around them as support, but if the plant will do better without it? I'm just curious. I live in an area where I can just leave them in the ground year round but I'm not opposed to maintenence if I have to.
My first time planting a tulip check recent video on my channel can anyone let me know how can I save the bulbs for next year
