Now I pay the price for leaving the leaves. Will be busy removing some of the invasives (Chinese privet mostly) popping up until I replace them with natives that fit the spot.
I know the last one is an invasive but it’s a volunteer I have a soft spot for. Please forgive me.

That last one does look like it’d be tricky to remove so you’d better just leave it.
