FITCHBURG, Wis. (WMTV) -Staff at Jung Garden Center in Fitchburg are gearing up for the planting season, with the Bare Root Room set to open March 20.
Jung Garden Centers offer plants, seeds and gardening equipment at locations in Fitchburg, Madison, Randolph, Stevens Point, Stoughton and Sun Prairie, Wis.
Angela Whelan, the garden center manager at the Fitchburg location, said staff are busy preparing for bare root season. She said some of the most popular bare root plants include fruit trees, raspberries and onions, among others.
With spring approaching, Whelan said more plant shipments are arriving and staff are working to prepare both indoor and outdoor spaces.
Whelan encourages anyone seeking planting advice to stop in, saying staff can help guide customers pick the right plants for the space they have.
The Fitchburg location is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
