Ok so got the new shed in september. Why the lawn is a complete mess, dug out about 6-7 inches of topsoil and put in hardcore etc myself which left me with a huge pile of topsoil mixed rocks and weeds all over winter right infront of the shed.
Since about weeks ago I've gotten back in the garden. The big square patch is where the old shed was. Filled a bunch of topsoil there levelled it, spead some EXPENSIVE grass seed. Will buy better ones later. And then did a light sprinkle of compost over it and lighly tamped.
The rest of topsoil I screened and mixed with good compost and manure to use in the metal garden bed and grow bags I got. And the rest kinda screened topsoil im using to fill in low spots around the garden.
Ok so what I want to do, the garden bed I have planned is a bunch of vegtables because thats cool. I think im gonna need more grass seed. Might move the swing location.
But its a pretty decent sized lawn so I think I can do a little better or make it look nicer for this summer, cant spend crazy amount of money though. Maybe add a dawf tree and wild flowers. Basically what kind of plants can I add that wouldn't be crazy expensive for this year and look nice.
Also thought of making a curved path leading to shed.
