So I’m a huge flower person. I grow them, photograph them, read about them… basically if it has petals, I’m interested.
A few weeks ago I saw someone wearing a really cool Hawaiian shirt covered in flowers. It looked amazing, and for some reason it made a lightbulb go off in my head: why don’t I just wear the flowers I love? Not just look at them in the garden.
So I went down a bit of a rabbit hole looking for floral shirts online. I checked a bunch of different sites. Some looked nice in photos but the fabric quality seemed questionable. Others looked great but the price was kind of ridiculous for what is basically a casual shirt.
After comparing way too many options (probably more than a normal person would), I finally ordered one with a really detailed botanical-style print. It just arrived and honestly… I love it. The colors are vibrant, the flowers look like something straight out of a garden catalog, and it actually fits well.
I didn’t expect to like it this much, but it’s kind of fun walking around feeling like a mobile flower bed.

Anyway… I feel like this was a pretty great idea. Turning my flower obsession into wearable clothing might be my best decision this year.
