Last year we noticed our Wisteria had died, probably died the year before but never noticed. Last night I just pulled the trunk out of the ground, due to it being rotten.

We noticed new growth coming from the roots last year and thought great we don't need a new wisteria. But there is about 5-6 shoots coming out and was wondering do I prune in down to just one or two, leave it for a year or just start training all the new shoots?
