I think so. To confirm it, chicken of the woods won’t have gills. Jackolantern, its lookalike, will have gills. Almost certain this is chicken of the woods though

Chicken of the woods. This is the one I found and ate a few years back.
Edit: just an FYI it’s recommended you do not consume them if they are growing off certain trees because they can absorb toxins from the tree. It’s good to identify the tree you are harvesting it from if you do.
If you do consume then make sure to cook and eat only a little at first to see if you have a bad reaction to it.
