I really want this planter filled with more rosettes than this, though the plant doesn't seem inclined to branch out any more than it already has, which is understandable given not much light is reaching the stems.

Do y'all think it would fill out and hide the chopped mother plant branches within 6mos, with ideal conditions and regular fertilizing? It seems to be a fast enough grower but I'm just not sure… I would probably root the chopped rosettes along the edge of the pot, so in theory it should fill in quickly??

  1. Leave them be! There’s barely any stalk to chop in the first place

Remove some of the rocks so the soil can dry out.
