I cannot control myself. Clearly. I am just a hobby grower. I donโt sell these, neither tubers nor flowers, and last year was my first year growing them. (CA 9B) Last year I grew about 40 plants in about 30-35 grow bags. With what Iโve ordered this year itโs looking like Iโll have about 75 plants this year, more if I divide my tuber clumps from last year ๐ ๐ ๐ I know I need to chill, dirt and irrigation isnโt cheap eitherโฆ but I still canโt seem to stop ordering them! Hereโs my newest order from tonightโฆ I just wanted tartan, but got greedy๐ Any advice? Please help! ๐ ๐ซ๐คฃ

This is an automatic reminder regarding r/dahlias Rule 3:
When reasonable*, posters should make a good-faith effort to identify which variety/varieties are shown in their photo(s). If you donโt know for certain, please say so. Someone will usually know!
*Common-sense exceptions to this rule will be honored, such as if the photo does not contain a blossom, or if your photo contains large volumes (such as in wide field shots).
If you’ve already done this, thank you! No further action required.
If not, please add a reply to this comment and confirm if you know the name of your dahlia variety/varieties shown in the photo(s). Alternately, if youโre uncertain of the variety name(s), itโs ok to say that, too.

Sorry! There’s no cure ๐คฃ๐คฉ
