The stunning Biddulph Grange Gardens is offering free entry for a single week in March.

The garden, which features a vibrant Chinese garden complete with a red pagoda and bridge, an Egyptian courtyard, and a woodland playground, is usually priced at £14 for adults and £7 for children. However, as part of the National Lottery’s Open Week, visitors can enjoy the National Trust attraction at no cost.

Located in Biddulph, near Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, it’s just over two hours by car from Coventry. The garden also boasts a tea room, a second-hand bookshop, a Himalayan Glen, an Italian Garden, collections of rhododendrons, a Dahlia Walk, and the country’s oldest stumpery.

When to visit Biddulph for free.

The National Lottery’s Open Week takes place from 7th to 15th March 2026. This event provides visitors with unlimited free entry and discounted tickets to hundreds of National Trust properties, English Heritage sites, RSPB areas, castles and museums across the country.

Biddulph Grange Garden is participating in this offer, providing free entry from Saturday 7th March to Saturday 14th March. To gain free entry during these dates, simply present a paper or digital lottery ticket (from any date).

How to get to Biddulph Grange Gardens from Coventry

A trip to Biddulph Grange Gardens from Birmingham typically takes just over two hours by car, depending on traffic, via the A446 and the A51.

The address is Grange Road, Biddulph ST8 7SD.

You can also get a train from Coventry to Congleton train station although you’ll have to change at Stoke-on-Trent. That journey will take about an hour and 40 minutes. Biddulph Grange Garden is merely 21⁄2 miles away, accessible by taxi or bus.
