2. Highways Garden and Leisure

Where: Loddon Road, Norwich, NR14 7PW

Billing itself as one of Norfolk’s premier garden centres, Highway is proudly dog‑friendly and popular with walkers heading in from the A146.

Dogs on leads are welcome and there are clearly signed dog‑friendly tables in and around the café, so you can linger over coffee without leaving your pet in the car.

4. Sprowston Garden Centre

Where: Blue Boar Lane, Norwich, NR7 8RJ

Sprowston Garden Centre is part of the British Garden Centres group and actively encourages dog owners to visit, as long as their pets are on leads.

There is plenty of space for your pooch to wander around outside among the plants, making it a useful option for those wanting a dog‑friendly spot that is not too far out of Norwich.

5. Fakenham Garden Centre

It recently took home three awards from the Garden Trade News Greatest Christmas Awards 2025.

6. Holt Garden Centre

Where: Holgate Hill, Kelling, Holt, NR25 7ER

The team at Holt Garden Centre actively invites customers to “bring your four‑legged friend along,” with dogs welcomed as part of a day out rather than treated as an afterthought.

That approach extends into the Garden Terrace Café, which clearly bills itself as a dog‑friendly place to eat and drink, so you can enjoy breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea with your dog at your feet.

7. Roys of Wroxham Garden Centre

Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome to join you while you potter around the aisles at Roys Garden Centre.

Water bowls and friendly team members help make it feel relaxed rather than restrictive.

For Christmas 2025, Roys leaned into this by hosting a Santa Paws event, inviting customers to book festive photo slots and treats for their dogs alongside the usual seasonal shopping.
