This jade was a centerpiece at my wedding many years ago and i need help saving it! I just finished doctoring it for mealybugs. I repotted it in cactus soil and I took some cuttings to try to start new plants. what is left is so sad and very leggy. what do I do now? Can I chop it, and how far? Also how do I make sure my new babies don’t get leggy? I have it by a window getting maybe 5 hours of direct sun a day (it’s winter), more in summer. I water it every 2-3 weeks which is probably too much. help me, plant friends, you are my only hope.

A common problem with cacti and succulents is etiolation. This is when a succulent stretches or becomes leggy. Reply with “!etiolation” for advice.
