Spring is in the air as the award-winning Love Loughborough Gardeners’ Fair returns to the town centre for 2026. The first event of the season will take place on Easter Sunday, April 5, running from 10am to 4pm, and will be held across Devonshire Square, Cattle Market, Market Street and Market Place.
Held on the first Sunday of every month from April to October, the much-loved fair attracts more than 80,000 visitors each year, helping to boost footfall for local shops, cafes and restaurants while bringing a lively atmosphere to the town centre.
Visitors can browse a wide range of stalls offering seasonal plants and flowers, shrubs and trees, succulents, rare and exotic plants, along with garden décor, artisan foods and handmade crafts. Expert growers will also be on hand with advice to help gardeners make the most of their spring planting.
The Furrow’s Horticulture Young Gardeners stall will return for 2026, giving children the chance to learn about growing fruit, vegetables and pollinator-friendly flowers. Young visitors will also be able to take part in fun challenges such as growing the tallest sunflower, the biggest pumpkin and the tallest beanstalk, with competitions and prizes available.
Families visiting the Easter launch event can also enjoy themed activities including trails, street entertainment, crafts, activities at the Odeon Cinema and a special appearance from the Easter Bunny.
With convenient parking and plenty of local cafés, pubs, restaurants and shops open throughout the day, organisers say the fair offers the perfect spring outing for the whole family. Future Love Loughborough Gardeners’ Fairs will take place on May 3, June 7, July 5, August 2, September 6 and October 4.
