  1. Last season, I was able to purchase a concrete bird bath on sale for a very good price. This season, I hope to add a concrete bench. Hopefully, at some point, they will go on sale. Thank you, another great video. On a different note, that color of shirt compliments you well. Have a wonderful weekend.

  2. Are you planning your garden for 2026 yet? 🌿
I’d love to know — which one of these ideas stood out to you the most?

Is it repeating plants that already perform well, adding more groundcovers, creating better seating areas, or something else entirely?

👇 Tell me in the comments:
    • What’s one thing you’re planning to do differently in your garden next year?
    • Or what’s something that has worked so well you plan to repeat it?

Your ideas help others too, and I always enjoy reading them. 💚

  3. Your secret cottage garden seems so secluded and a perfect spot for bistro set and birdbath. I have a most lovely concrete birdbath. It's small as we have to move it to shelter in winter. It sits right where I can see it from my patio and always plant rose moss at the base. It's close to a white rose (Desdemona) and a very huge lavender amongst my stepping stones. I love it so much. Thanks for the video and allowing me to paint a picture with words!😂

  4. I can't wait for my roses to grow and I'm buying more iris this year! I'm am hoping to put in a new vegetable garden ! I'm hoping my hellebore come on out and I planted more Japanese anomes! I love my daylilies however the deer are coming in and grazing ! Heaven help me! Thank you Pam for sharing all your knowledge believe me I'm so excited to try some lavender and hollyhocks ❤😊 Happy Sunday

  5. Another focused & helpful video Pam. Thank You. I plan on following your suggestions. We seem to be in sync when it comes to appreciation for scented gardens. May I suggest the Illuminati Tower Mock Orange. It is supposed to grow narrow & only 5-6 ft tall. Mock Orange & Lilacs are my favorite spring flowering shrubs. I bought & planted two Bloomerang Lilacs & an Illuminati Sparks Mock Orange last summer. Did not see the Illuminati Tower at the time. I am hoping to get a few Sting Arborvitae’s this summer. I love that they are narrow & somewhat tall. Also on the lookout for more long blooming and fragrant roses. I have a wonderful old rose that only blooms in the late spring, early summer that has the most heavenly scent. It is Madame Plantier. Wish she bloomed all summer. She is tough as nails and survives even when neglected. Thanks again for sharing. I look forward to your videos each week. 😊❤

  6. Your plans sounds like some beautiful improvements to your already beautiful gardens. I have sitting areas everywhere in my yard and I love them all. Some are just homemade benches that add a country look to my beds, and some are the heavy duty wrought-iron pieces of furniture that I have had for years, which I have sanded and repainted throughout the years. I have an approximately 1.5-acre yard full of trees. I have tons of irises and lilies planted in severalareas aroundtheedge of my yard. Throughout the years, the trees have grown so much that the plants don't bloom any more. I am surrounded by trees. I finished a new large iris bed this past year and I have started another one, only much bigger. My plans are to finish the bed by September so I can move irises and lilies to it. I also plan on separating my drought-tolerant plants from my other plants.
I have 15 birdbaths during the warmer months and 5 heated birdbaths during the winter, and the birds do love them, and so do the squirrels and raccoons lol.
I can't to see your new projects take form. 😊

  7. I will be 64 years old this year, so my gardening plans have become more simple. I want to get out in my garden regularly, but I am gearing towards my lower maintenance plants.

  8. hi pam, i love your ideas for 2026, i will be doing some of the same ideas. you have such a beautiful garden i know you will do well. thanks for sharing. hope you have a great week!

  9. Great advice. So excited you are adding a bistro table and MORE roses! Your rose allée was so pretty last year. 💐

  10. Thank you for this thoughtful video. I haven’t wrote my plans on paper yet. Just ordered a bunch of seeds today. Thanks for the inspiration. 😊

  11. Thank you for sharing your ideas. This year I am going to be dividing and moving my perennials to create new garden areas with the addition of a few new rose bushes. I want to create a hidden area in my garden to be able to sit, read and paint. Still letting my imagination go to see what I can come up with.

  12. I am still working on getting my garden beds filled with more plants with better soil. Working on more shade needed for my low AZ desert heat. I would love to finish setting up a running water fountain for the birds. Also want more evergreen shrubs.

  13. Its hard to not compare what I am able to do and afford with some of the big beautiful gardens I see on youtube. This year I am going to have fun! Plant a few flower species, utilize winter sowing and enjoy. Will my coneflowers and daisies (from seed) flower the first year?

  14. I have really similar goals, but such a different climate. I love your approach to less work, more beauty in the garden

  15. I agree with you 100%. I need to stop buying or getting more plants, and finish the projects I’ve started. But that’s easy to say now. 😄
