Hi, I'm new here.
I'm trynna save the monstera at my workplace. It's. very limited what I'm allowed, but trying to do something.
Just moved it out of the direct sunlight because it was suffering and when I put the pot down a bug came running out. I swear it looks like a silverfish but google is not much help on silverfish in plants, idk.
Is my id correct? What does it mean? Is this the end?
Attached photo of plant and photo of the bug
Thank you

Cleaning employee here, it looks very much like a silver fish, I see these guys a lot but I don’t think they do anything to plants, it was probably just hiding under the pot.
For the monstera itself, it looks like it has a crazy amount of aerial roots but I don’t know enough to give advice so I’ll upvote to help 🙂
its a silverfish but afaik they dont live in plants. they usually live in drains and the pipes connected to them. they do like to hide though, i live in a pretty old apartment and theyre sometimes an issue but they move from apartment to apartment using the pipes. they will hide under whatever is closest.
