TULSA, Okla. — The 18th annual Tulsa Home and Garden Show is kicking off the spring season at Expo Square!
The event features more than 500 exhibitors ready to help attendees learn all about gardening and how to tackle home improvement projects.
David Coker, the owner of ProThermal Heating and Cooling, shared some of the tips he’s been giving out at his booth, explaining what signs indicate your HVAC system isn’t working properly.
“High utility costs is one,” said Coker. “That’s a huge factor [about] if the system is actually having performance type issues. Obviously, if you have any odd air flow issues or odd noises coming from the system, those are kind of indications. When the AC system comes on, if the lights are dimming when the compressor’s coming on, that’s a very specific indication that the compressor’s having internal winding performance issues and needs to be checked.”
The Home and Garden Show will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
It will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Tickets are $10 online and $12 at the door, with kids 12 and under getting into the event for free.
