From a butterfly exhibition to a string quartet concert, Dallas-Fort Worth residents have plenty of ways to spend spring break.

Entertainment

Learn about IndyCar at “Chasing Victory: An IndyCar Exhibition” at the Arlington Museum of Art. In partnership with the Java House Grand Prix of Arlington, the museum is showcasing items from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum. The exhibit features rare cars and artifacts from almost a century of IndyCar history, allowing individuals to see the evolution of the motorsport. Tickets start at around $10. The exhibition runs through July 12.

Test your musical knowledge at Name That Song: Bingo Loco at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Texas Live Arena. This free event consists of a game-show style party with confetti canons, CO2 jets, throwback sing-alongs and various prizes. Additionally, lip-sync battles, dance-offs, conga lines and rave rounds will be held between games.

Start off the spring at Butterflies in the Garden, open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden. Individuals will have the chance to see butterflies from various parts of the world in the garden’s Rainforest Conservatory. Local favorites will also be showcased. Tickets are sold by timed entrance, with regular prices starting at around $14 and rising to $15 during peak hours. The exhibit runs through April 30.

Music

Enjoy live music at “The Beauty of the Piano,” starting at 7:30 p.m. March 12 at the Arlington Music Hall. Presented by Symphony Arlington, this performance features pieces from composers like Frederic Chopin, Wolfgang Mozart, Gabriel Fauré and Felix Mendelssohn. Tickets start at around $20 and are $5 for students and educators.

Listen to live music with Vitamin String Quartet from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Friday at the Majestic Theatre. The concert will feature pop culture string arrangements including music from the Bridgerton soundtrack, Billie Eilish and Taylor Swift. Tickets start at around $65.

Sports

Attend a UFC 326: Holloway vs. Oliveira watch party at 8 p.m. Saturday at Arlington Backyard Sports and Social. Watch the two fighters compete for the BMF title at this free event consisting of various screens, crowd games and giveaways.
