Come along as I turn a wild, overgrown patch into my next spring food garden plot. I’m using my Grillo G110 with the flail mower attachment to knock down tall grass and vegetation, then I lay a silage tarp to quietly do the rest of the work over time.
This is my real-world process for getting a new garden spot ready without fighting the sod all spring. If you like watching raw land turn into productive food space—and you’re curious how a walk-behind tractor and tarp can make it easier—you’ll enjoy this one.
In this video:
• Before & after of the overgrown area
• Flail mowing with the Grillo G110
• Laying the silage tarp and what happens next
• Plans for spring vegetables and possibly pots/containers in this space
If you’re into homesteading, garden makeovers, or walk-behind tractor content, hit like and stick around for the planting update.
