A Somerset garden centre is celebrating the arrival of spring with a long weekend of savings and inspiration.
Dobbies in Shepton Mallet will host its Spring Garden Savings Weekend from Thursday, March 5 to Monday, March 9, offering customers “fantastic offers” across a wide range of plants, gardening tools and more.
Visitors will be able to browse more than 415 own-brand gardening products and explore new-season plants and new outdoor living ranges.
Nigel Lawton, Dobbies plant buyer, said: “Spring is one of the most exciting times of the year for gardeners, and our Spring Garden Savings Weekend is all about helping our local communities to make the most of the season ahead.
“We’ve got fantastic offers across plants, bulbs, gardening tools and essentials, plus plenty of new arrivals in-store to inspire customers.”
Shoppers can expect savings on seasonal items, including a carry pack of primroses at three for £15, one-litre primroses at four for £10 and half-price three-litre pansies and violas at £3.99.
Additional offers include 20 per cent off all magnolias and hebes, two for £15 on two litres of Erysimum, three for £12 on one-litre cottage garden plants, and two for £15 on primrose ranging pots.
Customers can also get a dahlia beds and borders jumbo pack for half price with a £15 spend on bulbs.
There are savings on gardening tools as well, including £30 off the Yardforce 1500W scarifier and £20 off the Yardforce 1500W power washer.
Forty litres of Miracle-Gro all-purpose peat-free compost will be available for two for £10.
Visitors can also enjoy the centre’s new spring-summer menu in the restaurant.
This features seasonal dishes and sweet treats.
The offers are designed to help customers refresh their gardens and outdoor spaces as the new season begins.
