Thank you Luke for all the videos you do. I have learned so much about gardening. I was wondering if you have and if not could you make a video about what to do to your strawberries when they come out of dormancy and how do you know when that time is
Lol.. the weather is so wonky in Wisconsin. Havent had steady temps like you mentioned for more than 5 days straight. I may have to tap a tree just for that sound…..oooohhhlala🌌
The Amish down the road form us did our maples last year, we decided not to allow it this year. I have two lil girls I would like to try this with on our own! You did a great job explaining and sharing it with us! Now I need to get some Taps!
You’re still going way too deep, it’s only 1.5 to 2” actually and that’s way more than 2” and that’s bad for the tree when you go too deep. People think inches are bigger than they actually are.
Also for everyone, forego the plastic taps. They’re garbage and will always break apart especially in the tree. Plus it’s plastic so the goal is to stop adding so much plastic to the earth. Metal is best always.

The 1st thing ya need, A Maple Tree 😂 Unfortunately don't have any of those. Looks fairly easy and has to be very satisfying getting fresh syrup !
Fun!
After tRump, might be the only real maple syrup we get for quite a while
