Home Bargains shoppers will be delighted to find that “dazzling” garden lighting is returning to shop shelves. The vibrant lights, priced under £10, have been praised for transforming British gardens into something that looks like “a disco”.

The return of the outdoor accessory will likely have fans of the budget retailer excited to begin preparing their outdoor areas for the spring and summer months. The Firefly 10 Meteor Shower Solar Lights are back in stock, both online and in branches nationwide.

A spokesperson for Home Bargains described the lights online, and said: “The Firefly 10 Meteor Shower Solar Lights create a dazzling display in your outdoor space. With 10 LED filament bulbs, these lights mimic the stunning effect of a meteor shower, adding a touch of magic to your garden, yard, or patio.

“The lights are easy to install and include a rechargeable battery that charges during the day. They automatically turn on at dusk, offering an enchanting glow with a flashing effect that brings your outdoor area to life. No wiring needed-just let the sun do the work and enjoy the show every evening!”

When these lights were previously available in 2025, one customer shared her thoughts online. The TikTok user (@Lets_pop_to_the_shops) purchased a set of lights and fitted them in her garden that same evening, reports the Mirror.

Her footage, uploaded in April 2025, showed the ‘meteor’ effect in action, with colourful lights softly falling down each bulb. Thrilled with her bargain find, she said: “It’s like a disco in your garden, I really love it!”

The price remains exactly the same as this time last year, with customers paying £7.99 for the set. For more of Home Bargains’ garden décor, furniture or lighting options, click here.

In other Home Bargains news, 560 branches will temporarily close to the public in a few weeks. Management has confirmed that the opening and closing schedule will be changed at the beginning of April due to Easter and the associated bank holidays.

It was reported that shutters will be pulled on 560 of the chain’s shops on Easter Sunday. However, 70 branches in Scotland will remain open as usual on that Sunday, April 5.

The chain employs approximately 28,000 staff across the UK, and the closure is meant to give workers a rare day off during the Easter period. The shops will still be open on Good Friday and Easter Monday, however, the reduced hours will be from 9am to 7pm on both days.

Bosses closed their shops in a similar nationwide move a few months ago during Christmas. Staff were given some “much-needed” time off to spend with family when shops did not open on Christmas Day or Boxing Day.
