Mihara Garden in Nagasaki City is an open garden produced by Kazuyuki Ishihara, a world-renowned garden designer who has won gold medals at the Chelsea Flower Show in the U.K.
Built on a hillside, the garden features a variety of areas including Japanese and Western-style gardens as well as a landscape bonsai section, offering beautiful views of Nagasaki City. Admission is free, and there are also facilities such as a café and a plant store. It serves not only as a relaxing spot for visitors but also as a model for garden design and local revitalization.
