For context I want to grow a mini indoor garden in my bedroom when I move into a bigger place soon, fruits and veggies and a few mushrooms and so on, but rn I wanna start with a few cacti on the catwalk balcony. I have not named them yet but I’ll edit this when I do. Any tips for a newbie like me? Last time I did anything like this was plopping Russian sage in my front yard and owning an aloe plant that got pretty big till I completely botched the harvesting process (all during the pandemic btw so ancient history) I had to pot one of the from a cutting with roots (the Bolivian torch) and I have a few questions
-
Is it normal for the cactus to be this loose and wobbly? Like it’s not exactly firmly rooted even if it stands straight up on its own
-
What are common signs of common roomie mistakes to watch out for? Especially regarding roots and things (some of the roots were up and erect and hard to bury into the pot)
-
For the Mammillaria Spinossissima, should I move it out of the shady corner or will it be okay?
Also just give me any advice, well wishes, or testimonials

UPDATE: I named them!!!:
BOLIVIAN TORCH: Pisa (I was going to name it Sam Porter Bridgesii but I plan on getting another Bolivian Torch, and like not one with this straight up but slightly leaning shape, as I’ve never seen images of that in this cactus before. I will name his. child Sam Porter Bridgesii when he’s grown enough for me to propogate a nugget or two into a different pot)
LADYFINGER: Sappho… lady…finger, hehe get it? :3
SPINY PINCUSHION: Between “Spiny Pincushion” being such a whimsical name and all the little flowers on top, as well as the size it came in by default, her name is Big Pixie
I really hope the last two fruit at somepoint btw I’m super curious to see what they’ll taste like and what the yeild is
