Last year the prices at my local nursery as well as the big box stores were insane! They wanted $6 for one basil plant!! For $6 dollars, I can buy three packets of seeds from MIgardener! It actually made me mad because if someone was just starting gardening and wanted to buy a few plants, they'd probably get discouraged and not bother. When I f8rst started gardening, I started with plants, not seeds. It really is ridiculous because those plants are grown here, not imported, so you can't blame tariffs!
Watch out, Barbara's husband! She's going to want to move to Florida!😅
Gurl y’all looking at all the good stuff. 😂 Y’all are so cute. 🥰
Hi Barbara!! Welcome to my backyard. Lukas is actually one of my favorite nurseries to visit. It’s eye candy for the gardener. 💖. You can actually grow mulberry tree in your zone. Growing up in Maryland (zone 7B), my neighbor had a mulberry tree. They’re some of the sweetest berries you can eat. Sort of like a blackberry, but sweeter & without the seeds. Another fun place to visit is Leu’s Garden. Add it to your bucket list next time you visit the Sunshine State 😁💖
Does your husband ever get nervous when you go to a nursery like mine does? 😂
Barbara, I live in Apalachicola, Florida. I am 75 years young and have been gardening since 1993. I have learned so much more from you that I never knew, especially in being organize, etc. Please purchase an Olive Tree, you will not regret it. My tree is about 20 feet now and beautiful. My tree started producing olives in about the third year. I want to learn how to make my own olive oil and how to use the olive leaves for a tea. Again you so much for being there for all gardeners and thank you for praying for our success in gardening, etc. May continue to Bless/empowering you to prosper you and family/ministry.
Hi Barbara, welcome to Florida. I am about two hours from Orlando. Florida has its benefits but in NC you can grow some varieties of plants that we can't in Florida, but we do have you when it comes to exotic subtropical fruit trees. You should be able to grow more cold hardy avocado and citrus trees in your area.
Thanks for taking us on the tour! Those citrus trees are amazing! That lime tree . ❤❤
Orlando is my hometown! I’m South of there now in Palm Bay. Definitely need to ride over there soon.
Oh yeah, this nursery is fun.
FedEx dropped an olive tree at my house on mistake.
Awww thank you for the tour. I really enjoyed all that you showed especially the fruit trees. 🥰🌻🪴
Yes live here and visit often. Enjoyed your video and subscribed!😊
Hi Barbara and Husband~! Thank you for the tour. I love visiting nurseries even if I don’t buy anything…just fun~! God bless and thanks again❣️
Love this video. I’ll have to stop by there on my way home from Georgia.
Ms Barbara in my front yard and i didn't know 😢🎉🎉hope you enjoyed our city🎉❤
All I can say is WOW! Thanks for taking us along on this journey, I really enjoyed every moment of it. I grew up with most of these trees in Trinidad as a child, so it is definitely nostalgic 🧡🧡
