Warning! That Reencle mini composter ships utilize cockroaches for the composting. It might seem disgusting to us but it a product originally designed for breeding insect feed stock for pet reptiles, etc. Reencle is basically the Swedish word for roach. And don't get fooled into thinking that the mealworm variant is cleaner, because mealworms turn into equally disgusting bugs.

I like to blend my scraps in my vitamix and then add to the garden. They break down much faster that way.

There’s actually a sixth way too use your food scraps by using a biogas digester you can build your own with I believe just a container and three pipes The first part is where you put all of your scraps in. First you need to put animal manure and water. The second pipe is where the fertilizer comes out and the third pipe is where the. Bio gas comes out, but this pipe is usually a tube and it’s connected to another container with the gas is collected and you can use this bio gas for a lot of stuff, but most people use it for cooking but you will need a special burner for that I believe I could be wrong on everything though

do not use wood shavings if it is construction grade 2x4s in your garage from home depot please. Most planked wood is treated. Use firewood or branches off healthy trees
