got this silver dragon at home depot for $20. did a quick research and seemed like a good deal since it said it is considered a “rare” plant. did i score good here?
the plant looks healthy overall, but has some yellow/brown spots, and soil is super soggy 😫
i have more house plants, but never had any alocasias before. been reading about it, but would love to know from people that own them.
any care tips or advice in general is super welcome!

I’d check for bugs asap because any alocasia I’ve gotten from Home Depot has been a thrip magnet 😭 alocasia in general tend to be, so check them super often for crawlies!
Your alocasia looks great, definitely a good price for it! Make sure it gets a lotttt of light~
