Home Bargains is selling a set of garden ornaments that not only look “mesmerising” but will also “impress your neighbours”. The store is a popular choice across the country thanks to its wide variety of products that are available at affordable prices.
Besides homeware, the store also offers an array of gardening supplies, including tools, lighting and decorations. As part of its latest line-up of garden ornaments, the store is selling a set of Stainless Steel Gazing Balls from its Jardin range.
The set includes four assorted chrome decorative balls. Sizes vary from four inches to eight inches. They’re described as “floating weatherproof decorations”. Home Bargains says they are lightweight and “ideal for the garden, pond or lawn”.
In the product description, the store says: “Transform your garden with the Jardin Stainless Steel Gazing Balls Set in Chrome! These stunning, polished balls float gracefully on water or shine as eye-catching ornaments on your lawn, adding a touch of elegance.”
It also adds: “A decorative gazing ball set in polished stainless steel. These balls will mesmerise you as it bobs up and down on the water, or simply place it on your lawn as an ornament to impress your neighbours! Acting as the finishing touch in any pond or decorative bowl.”

In a previously uploaded video by TikToker Sophie, who goes by @Lookinsidemygarden, she gave viewers a look at how she used the decorations in her garden. She said: “I don’t know what it is about these Home Bargains shiny balls, but I just love them. Did you know you can buy them online? This is my second set, and the first ones are still going strong three years later. I just think they add a bit of interest.”
Gazing balls, also called garden globes, are designed for outdoor use and reflect the scenery around them. You can usually find them made of stainless steel, glass, or with colourful mosaic designs. They can be set on stands, put in garden beds, or even float in ponds.
Stainless steel globes are often a popular choice because they don’t break easily and resist rust, making them a strong option for long-term outdoor use. Most of them are hollow, so they can float on water features.

Amazon is selling Fahd Traders Stainless Steel Gazing Globe Set for £39.99. The set includes three highly polished mirror balls in 20cm, 25cm, and 28cm sizes. Reviewers note they add a “captivating shimmer” to ponds or patios.
B&Q has a set of four Stainless Steel Gazing Balls in stock for £19.99 that look almost identical to Home Bargains’ set. These are only available for purchase online, as they aren’t sold in stores. For a light-up option, Dunelm is selling a Solar Outdoor Mood Ball Light for £30. The solar-powered decoration glows automatically at night with “warm ambient lighting”.
