Popular retailer B&M is selling a garden ornament which bears a striking resemblance to a popular sold-out ornament from Home Bargains. The Solar Powered XXL Hot Air Balloon is available on the B&M website for £18.
With its colourful design and hanging basket, it is nearly identical to Home Bargains’ Firefly Extra Large Hot Air Balloon Solar Light which is currently sold out online. The hot air balloon lights, which also come in smaller sizes, have previously sent Home Bargains fans into a frenzy and shoppers regularly share on social media when they are back in stock.
The similar B&M lights also feature “flame effect” ultra bright LED lights. They come with a rechargeable battery meaning no wiring is required.
At £18 they are more expensive than the Home Bargains extra large lights which were £12.99.

Hot air balloon lights have long been a staple with Home Bargains’ shoppers and when the extra large version came back in stock earlier this year shoppers were quick to notice. However, they have since sold out.
The Facebook account, Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, shared a picture of the lights in January saying: “Hot air balloon lights are back at Home Bargains”.
The post attracted hundreds of likes and comments with one person commenting: “Here we go again”.

Another comment said: “Have you seen these, they are huge, I want one of each colour”.
A third added: “These look lovely at night”.
While the extra large lights are sold out at Home Bargains, there are also smaller versions available. The Firefly Solar Light Co Clip-On Hot Air Balloon Lights are £1.49 and offer practicality and design with clip-on installation.
With flickering flame effect LEDs, they can be easily hung on plants, trees or fences to bring colour and vibrancy to your outdoor space.
