the flowers that bloom look kind of like a rose flower when they fully bloom, want to know what it is so i can manage it properly as its really overgrown since we moved in last year

Lucky you, in Canada we can only see them inside a greenhouse, and don’t usually see them bloom, this is Camellia , an evergreen shrub from east Asia but now you see them in many places in the world, in Chinese it’s called ” tea flowers” because it is used to plant for making tea , it has a long history in tea culture in China, but now people plant them for appreciate it’s flowers and also gardening exhibition
