Aloe (?) Has had this long growth since I acquired it but today it broke off, maybe got too heavy, but it seems healthy and I would love to try to propagate it if possible, how should I go about doing that ? Thanks so much.
Dont know if its relevant for this situation but he gets water maybe once a month when the soil is totally dry, lots of light everyday.

let it callus overnight (wound heal over without environmental input) and stick it in some nice airy/succulent-related soil later evening tmr, give it a good watering and let it be. aloes like to grow roots in a more drier climate than some would think, so best to let it tell you when to water it.
Give it a day or two to callus over, then chunk it some cactus/succulent mix and see what happens.
