Here comes the 2026 maple season with official tree tapping ceremony
The Somerset County Maple Producers Association kicked off the 2026 maple season with a tree tapping ceremony Feb. 28, at Wagner’s Sugar Camp.

Somerset County Master Gardeners teach sessions from 6-8 p.m. Thursdays in March – March 5, 12, 19, 26 – at the Somerset Extension Conference Room, 6024 Glades Pike Road, Somerset. Learn basic gardening techniques and reinforce existing gardening skills to maximize your vegetable garden’s potential.
