  1. Funny he mentions Ottawa and Montreal but skips over Toronto's GTA having over double their combined populations..

  2. once we assimilate canada and greenland that will be the impetuous to a hyper region to be born that will dwarf everything else so far

  3. Nuclear fusion will make desalination & pumping fresh water from the ocean cheap & easy. And internal combustion engines that run on hydrogen & only emits water also cheap & easy. How will this change that map?

  4. I don’t see it happening like this. People can work remotely, and you’re not gonna have someone in Boston that physically works in DC every day. You’re just not.

The power of states isn’t going anywhere because people like having power over where they live more than they like having power over where other people live.

  5. 11:44 Please stop calling the Gulf of Mexico the Gulf of America. We will be rid of our Egotist in Chief in a few months, and Gulf of America will be an embarrassing memory when we regain some of our national sanity.

  6. I wouldn't call these megaregions a dream. More like an urban nightmare where you can't get away from other people.

  7. The different trends along the state line of Illinois (high taxes, massive debt) and Indiana disprove the premise that state lines are irrelevant.
