I found this sad lil guy abandoned on the floor of my local Lowes and got permission to take him home. His current stem looks a little weird to me, and I'm not sure if the existing bit on the root ends is still viable or not. Should I
(A) Stick him in some dirt in a tiny terracotta pot
(B) Chop him on the stem, let it callous over, then stick it in some dirt
(C) Try to prop all the leaves separately
(D) Something else/doesn't really matter

Also, any ideas what he is? Maybe Sedum Adolphi?

Thanks!

I’ve had success with cutting the stem letting it calus then placing in dirt. In about a week if he starts to rot then remove the leaves and try to prop from the leaves separately.

I’d plant it the whole stem under dry dirt with just the top poking out. Idk if this succulent will develop rooths along the stem or if that’ll just end it being planted too deep, though. Some plants do that, others don’t and ive never propped them this way before.
