I’ve had this guy for about a year with very slow growth. I neglected it hard for a couple of weeks and now see a new leaf and a red bud of sorts. Is this the beginnings of a flower? Is it blooming bc I’m killing it? lol any insight greatly appreciated!!

“Thrives in neglect,” my husband says. He overwatered everyone when I was gone for two weeks. I had to rehab those that don’t want to be fussed over. There were a few I just left alone for two months.😬
