Big, old apple tree
I had my apple tree pruned in Feb 2025, and since I have noticed more and more of these spots, I it's canker?
I don't know what to do, it's everywhere and it might have been spread from the pruning… If I prune out every affected branch there may not be much tree left. I also probably can't do this in my own, and I don't know who to trust to not make this worse.
Any advice is appreciated, I am so sad about the thought of losing this tree.

I’ve been pruning trees for more than 30 years and I can’t think of a single older Apple tree that didn’t have this problem. Nothing to worry about.
