Always always ALWAYS click an actual source when researching for your garden!! If I had taken the "AI overview" at face value, I might have planted my beets next to plants that would literally inhibit their ability to germinate at all thinking it was a hunky-dory companion plant.

    I also don’t think it’s possible that it’s a good idea to randomly plant mint of any kind in your garden bed unless you are really really sure.

    That’s because search engine “AI” isn’t actually AI, it’s a summary scraped from top website hits. Literally it just reads the relevant section of the websites (good, bad and ugly) and spits it out in a readable format. No validation at all, garbage in / garbage out. It’s too bad because an actual AI feature would be helpful.
