My brother left his childhood collection of cacti and after several years of trying to give them away these three are left. After googling and Ai assisted searches on the plant apps I believe the smallest one (23 cm) is an Espostoa Lanata, and the middle sized one (65cm) is a Haageocereus Pseudomelanostele. I in no way feel certain of these classifications, please correct me if I am wrong!

The tallest one is giving me more trouble. The apps give me several different answer, googling is not helping and I have now spent a couple hours reading lists of cactuses at random trying to find a good match. I don’t particularly like cacti, or plants in general really, but I would like them to have proper care, something they have not been getting for the last twenty something years at least, so knowing what they are would help immensely.

My brother got all of them when he was a child and he is now in his mid thirties so they must be around twenty five years old if not more. They have been standing in a dusty window, at long periods behind shutters, watered very infrequently, have probably never blossomed and in generally been very neglected.

Any help with identifying them and with guidance for their care are greatly appreciated.
