MORE ABOUT ME

I’m Anne of All Trades. In NASHVILLE, I have a woodworking, blacksmithing and fabrication shop, a selection of furry friends, and an organic farm. Whether you’ve got the knowledge, tools, time or space to do the things you’ve always wanted to do, everything is “figureoutable.”

I became “Anne of All Trades” out of necessity. With no background in farming or making things, I wanted to learn to raise my own food, fix things when they break and build the things I need.

12 years ago I got my first pet, planted my first seed and picked up my first tool.

My goal is to learn and share traditional techniques and skills while showing my peers how to get from where they are to where they want to go, how to do the things they are passionate about, and what can be done TODAY to engage their own community and grow deep roots.

Whether it’s carving spoons, making my own hand tools, restoring my antique truck or growing heirloom tomatoes, the farm and workshop definitely keep me busy and support – whether financially through Patreon, through shopping my affiliate links, through buying merchandise, plans or project videos, or even just liking, commenting, and sharing my content with others helps me GREATLY to keep producing quality content to share.

  1. As soon as you mentioned nettles, I immediately thought of Clarkson's Farm! I have watched it over and over! I just discovered your channel and YOU are a definite keeper!!!

  2. I don’t even like mushrooms but I enjoy your videos so much. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us!

  3. There is one species of mushroom that to me looks like a bee hive in my garden soil. It has several small black little seed like things in it.

  4. Echoing many other comments here, love your style of teaching and content! Also, shout out to the videographer, great shooting and editing!

  5. What a fun video. I’ve been learning about the mushrooms we have here. I love my quiet mushroom walks. I take my apps & a little book I have along to double check things. I love the idea of bringing the leaf mulch back to the garden! I’ll be looking for that too now. 💕

  6. Can you please give me some of your thought about ticks and other insects that might scare one to enjoy forest, due to infection they carry ….

  7. Absolutely enjoying this second video of yours. You're so intelligent and easy to follow. But I had to ask, when you were picking comphrey, it looked like it was surrounded by poison ivy. Here in Ohio it rampant.! Love your authenticity and I'm learning so much!

  8. OMG, milkies are my favorite! The darker ones are amazing! Definitely the steak of mushrooms. Charcoal burner is what we call green quilt in wv.

  9. I thought the spicy tasting Russula were the ones that make you sick. Are you sure those are the safe ones?

  10. Did I see poison ivy? I'm scratching just by mentioning poison ivy. Your shows are so informative.

  11. Hey Anne love your channel. Backyard Gardner, northern California. Don’t know if anyone’s said but it can be trademark ™ it’s ok to trademark anything, it’s just not a registered trademark. The difference is a tm in the little circle (because there is an assumption that you will register it eventually)
or an r in the little circle.
Just a little bit of trivia.
