It’s the very first garden tour of the year and somehow… it snowed in Northern California. For about an hour. Then the sun came out like nothing happened. 🌨️☀️
Everything is just starting to wake up in my zone 9A garden, so this is that in-between season tour. Magnolia buds, foxgloves coming up, tulips pushing through, the willow waking up, and a full look at the new stamped concrete patio, greenhouse, secret garden plans, and all the reworks happening this year.
There’s a lot asleep still… but you can feel it. Spring is about to explode out here.

  1. I really enjoy foxgloves. I feel like a lot of people around me dont use foxgloves at all in their garden. I know they say that they are toxic to animals…well I hope they drop all of the seeds in your garden and the moles and voles eat them all…wouldn't be a shame at all

  2. You and Brent have worked relentlessly to make your garden so beautiful. It has transformed into such a magical masterpiece. ❤😍😍😍❤❤❤

  3. Roby did you check the snow? I’ve seen videos of people with snowballs that wouldn’t melt

  4. I gave up on Eugenia topiarys mine look awful, zone 9b, privet topiary seem to be way more hardy to heat and cold

  5. It is mind blowing to see how much you guys have created in just over a year! Thank you for sharing your beautiful garden with us. It took me so long to watch this video because I kept pausing every time I loved a plant so I could go and look it up to see if I could grow it in my area 😂

  6. I love it all Robbie! The "death spike" haha, good one. I get those on my Sempervivum too. They are okay at the beginning but they can reach 2 feet and look pretty funny 🤣

  7. Hi Robbie! This was a great garden tour seeing what is waking up and the beautiful blooms you already have. I'm glad your Magnolia Ricky made it through the transplant. Everything is looking so good. I love the bad hair day mangave. It was nice seeing the before pictures. I'm still amazed at how much you and Brent have accomplished in just 1 year, and I'm looking forward to seeing all you do to all of the garden beds. Thank you so much for sharing!

  8. Hi Robbie and Brent , You guys have done such a beautiful job with the garden. I love watching it develop. Thank you for the video. I live in Jersey and still have snow on the ground.

  9. I thought watching last night’s episode how amazingly changed laying the patio changed the look of your backyard. This tour seals the deal! WOW! Great decision to put that in, the transformation is stunning and your background looks so much bigger! Congratulations!😊

  10. The structure you have added is amazing!! Looks perfect! Lots of work! Now you can have fun with plants. What a transformation!
