I have one of these. I planted it in full sun last year as a baby in Phoenix and everyone thought i made a huge mistake but it's still here and thriving
I live in 5-6 zone but my parents live in ur zone (Cali) so I sent my dad this. Hopefully he’ll grow it and I can go visit and eat all his fruit one day 😅
Our tree is 30 feet tall and growing! That is the only thing to be aware of, constant pruning is needed to keep it the size you want, and they produce hundreds of beans! I use mine as a center tree for my tropical food forest!
New invasive species dropped! This is gonna be nice for like five years before some idiot takes some to snack on while hiking and drops a seed in the leaf litter.
So are you planning to sell the beans?? Because I have heard of this plant and I have been really interested in growing it, but I don't know… But you do have a store!

I'm still sad every single time I see this. I'm in 6b. I can never grow this miracle here! (sad sigh)
I thought Kevin was joking but he seems pretty excited about the nitrogen fixing so maybe this is real lol.
I'll admit, I'm lazy. Anyone know if those are 4B tolerant?

You can make ice cream vanilla with it
In trinidad it's called padoo
What zones are appropriate for this tree?
Question 🙋♂️ why do you paint the bottom of the tree white ? Does it help it ?
Edit: thank you 🙏🏽
