It’s called a corn plant (Dracaena Fragrans) I do believe. I had a yucca branch break (similar stalks). I did let it callous, then put in water, then dabbed w root hormone, back in water & the roots came out. Didn’t take long. All I know. Have no idea if I was just lucky or ??
