Looking forward to some more tasty plums this year. My ultimate goal is to have plants that fruit one after the other so I have at least one source of fresh fruit all summer. These fruit pretty early here in Arkansas and are the most unfussy tree I've grown. I've read that they need another plum tree to produce the most fruit but it's first year it gave 20 plums. Second year, 5 plums, and looking at how many flower buds are on the tree, way more than last year, we are probably gonna have another good year. I still want to get another tree and put it in the back and let it run wild. They grow into a thicket if you let them.
