Yesterday I posted about a leggy experimental broccoli sprout I left out on my porch.

First, he survived the night beautifully, and the entirety of today. He was still standing tall and strong tonight when I got back from work at 6pm. So, I mixed some soil (I just let the ancestors guide me cause idk what I'm doing) and plopped my leggy sprout with 0 true leaves into his permanent home. A 5 gallon grow bag. I watered him DEEPLY (he got about 1.5 gallons and it was draining from the bag when I was done).

Now he's graduated from his spot on my dirty patio table and instead sits at the back corner of my house (still outside) where he should get full sun through most of the afternoon.

Did I do any of this correctly? No, probably not. Will he die? Quite possibly. Will I learn something new from it? Most assuredly.

I do expect some freezing temperatures in the next couple months and I plan to relocate him indoors for that, but otherwise he will remain exactly where he is until he either dies, bolts, or gives me a head of broccoli.

Wish the leggy broccoli sprout good luck because I rather think he's going to need it.
