It was honestly a lot of fun setting up the Aerospring hydroponic tower garden. It took me all afternoon to set it up (about 5 hours with breaks). I used one of my days off from work to assemble the unit. It was fairly easy and straightforward. The hardest part was getting the tent on just right. I am ready to grow now!
I have never gardened before, but I am really looking forward learning, growing, and reconnecting with food and nature! I am planning to grow some lettuces, pok choi, herbs, cherry tomatoes, and baby cucumbers.
The reservoir tank is 20 gallons. The plants will be nourished using gravity fed purified water and the Hexgrow nutrients that came in the box. I have already tested the pump. All other components are working fine. I also have filled, drained, and refilled the tank as directed to do in the instructions.
Growing your own food is awesome and empowering. I'm so excited to see where this new hobby of mine takes me!
