Cloudification annouces the expansion of c12n.cloud
Berlin, February 27, 2026 – The Berlin-based cloud infrastructure specialist Cloudification (https://cloudification.io/) has announced the availability of a Gardener-based Kubernetes-as-a-Service (KaaS) offering as part of its c12n private cloud platform (https://cloudification.io/c12n-private-cloud/). The solution enables organizations to centrally manage Kubernetes clusters across multiple cloud environments, including private clouds and selected public or edge infrastructures.
By integrating Gardener as a Kubernetes control plane, Cloudification addresses a growing demand for consistent Kubernetes operations in hybrid and multi-cloud environments. The approach allows teams to provision, update, and operate Kubernetes clusters across heterogeneous infrastructures using a unified operational model, reducing complexity in environments where workloads span multiple providers or locations.
The Gardener-based KaaS offering is designed to support high-performance and compute-intensive workloads, including AI and HPC use cases, while maintaining strong isolation and governance. When deployed as part of the c12n platform, the solution can run on OpenStack-based private clouds as well as additional infrastructure platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure or VMware, enabling flexible placement of Kubernetes workloads according to regulatory, performance, or cost requirements.
“Many organizations have standardized on Kubernetes but struggle with operational fragmentation across clouds and efficient management of clusters” said Dmitry Galkin, CEO and Founder of Cloudification. “Using Gardener allows us to provide a consistent Kubernetes management layer while preserving infrastructure choice and avoiding provider lock-in.”
The solution builds on Cloudification’s experience operating Gardener in production environments and complements existing c12n capabilities in infrastructure automation, networking, and storage. It is particularly relevant for organizations seeking sovereign cloud architectures, regulated deployments, or a clear separation between infrastructure and application orchestration layers.
With this expansion, Cloudification continues to position c12n as a modular platform for open, vendor-neutral cloud and container infrastructure, aligning with the increasing adoption of Kubernetes as a foundational technology for modern IT environments.
